Frequently Asked Questions

How do I keep my hair healthy after service?

We use Olaplex in all of our chemical services to help ensure the best quality outcome we can. With any chemical service, we will do a test strand during our consultation to ensure that your hair will be able to successfully take the service without irreversible damage.

Does previous color on my hair matter?

Previous hair color can effect the outcome of your chemical service. Box color changes the chemical composition of your hair and can mean that we may not be able to do the service. Salon color isn't as harsh and we can usually do a perm with it, but this is why we do test strands to ensure your hair won't be irreversibly damaged.

How much will it cost?

Our chemical services range in price but start at $80. The final price will be determined based off of our consultation due to the many factors that can effect your service like previous dyes, hair quality, medications, length of hair, etc.

Will I have curly hair after one service?

Absolutely! Your hair will be curly or straight after one service depending on which chemical service you choose. Keep in mind though, that you'll need to come in for maintenance!

Do all your stylists offer perms?

Perms

  • Approximately 3 to 4 hours

  • Begins with hair being wrapped on appropriately sized rods to give you the curl you requested 

  • Perm solution is applied carefully and left to process until it is time to rinse

  • We will instruct you as to what styling products we used and show you how to use them properly for styling your curly hair

  • We recommend 3 months for a fresh perm

  • Olaplex is used with this service which allows you to wash same day

  • Begins at $80+

Straightening Treatment

  • Approximately 3 hours

  • Begins with application of the straightening solution which is then combed through and left to process

  • Once processed, solution is washed out and the second step is applied, dried into the hair and then flat ironed

  • We will instruct you as to what styling products we used and show you how to use them properly

  • We recommend coming in every 3 to 4 months for reapplication

  • This is a lower maintenance service but will require regular appointments to maintain 

  • Begins at $200+
